Holt County I-29 northbound now open between Mound City and Oregon
ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Northbound Interstate 29 between mile marker 84 (Mound City) and mile marker 75 (Oregon) is now open; southbound remains closed. The interstate was closed early this morning, Thursday, Sept. 17, due to a crash involving hazardous materials.
Southbound interstate traffic is still currently being directed to use U.S. Route 59 around the closure. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route and follow the direction of law enforcement.
